The artist wrote accompanying mythology for each Stupad sculpture:
“Delicate enough to be tucked into and carried in the folds of a garment, the Pocket Stupad is a most intimate companion. Its hollow invites whispered confessions: stray and embarrassing thoughts that reverberate endlessly without permission, the very ones that follow you through the day but are too fragile for another ear to hear. At night, placed under the pillow, the Pocket Stupad digests these tender thought fragments, reconstituting them again as harmless dreams. Some people report to be awakening from these dreams with regained clarity, others mention waking with a smile. Over years, the Pocket Stupad slowly accumulates more and more layers. It grows heavier, as if the thoughts have thickened its body. When that happens, use light from the harvest moon to cleanse it, restoring its lightness.” —Timea Tihanyi
