If the left eye represented the abstract or formal way of seeing, and the right eye the representational or figurative, the title suggests the experience in art making when the two modes begin to split, or diverge, and tend to not always work in stereo. Conveniently, "walleyed" is also used to describe the ailment that the splayed eyes seem to convey; a state of frenzy, excitement or agitation. —Whiting Tennis
