Greg Kucera Gallery is pleased to announce the first Seattle solo exhibition of San Francisco photographer, Sean Mcfarland. Through his disciplined studio practice, the artist explores the deep dark recesses of the urban landscape, the gardens and forested areas that exist along side human development. Shot in the dimmest possible light, the "nature" depicted in these city parks and open spaces appears artificial, like a diorama representation of nature rather than the real thing.
